Silvia Jazmín Miranda is a Chicana filmmaker and photographer from Santa Ana, California. A daughter of immigrants, she grew up surrounded by stories—vibrant tales of resilience, love, and culture that shaped her deep appreciation for nostalgia and all things sappy.
From an early age, Silvia found her rhythm in music and visual storytelling. At 8, she burned her first CD, curating songs that felt like home. By 9, she was editing videos on Windows Movie Maker, unknowingly laying the foundation for a lifelong creative journey.
Now, with over 1,000 carefully crafted Spotify playlists, Silvia continues to explore the intersection of music, memory, and storytelling. Her work spans documentary filmmaking, digital creative music projects, and content creation—all driven by heart, heritage, and a love for capturing life’s most meaningful moments.
